Ms. Liu practices at King & Wood Mallesons with more than 8 years of experience. Her major practice areas include cross-border M&A, overseas IPO, foreign direct investments, etc. Ms. Liu has provided valuable assistance to Chinese companies with their overseas investments, spanning across countries such as the US, UK, Singapore, Germany, France, Thailand, Indonesia, Zimbabwe, etc. Ms. Liu's legal services also extend to Chinese companies seeking to go public overseas as well as international clients looking to invest in the Chinese market. Ms. Liu holds J.D. degree from Hofstra University, an LLM degree from University of Wisconsin, and an LLB degree from Sun Yat-sen University. She is qualified to practice in China and is admitted to the New York Bar Association.

Ms. Liu has been selected as one of Legal Talents in Foreign-related Business by Guangdong Lawyers Association, and one of Leading Talents in Foreign-related Business by Guangzhou Lawyers Association. She has also been selected as one of Outstanding Young Lawyers in Guangzhou. In November 2023, Ms. Liu and her colleagues, representing King & Wood Mallesons, won the championship in the First  Guangzhou International Commercial Moot Arbitration Competition which was collectivley held by the HKIAC and Guangzhou Lawyers Association. 

Her work highlights over the recent years include: Hainan Rubber in its acquisition of R1 International with its assets located within 8 jurisdictions (also constituted a major assets restructuring per PRC Listing Rules); Healthcare Co., Ltd. ’s acquisition of Mor Furniture for Less, Inc. which has been remarked as one of Top 10 M&A deals in Consumer Products Industry of 2020 by Morning Whistle; Guangzhou Finance Holding Group Co. Ltd.'s overseas issuance of bonds, etc.
